Introduction
When
technology and craft are intertwined with a deep perception of
emotion and thought, the endeavor of photography is elevated to
an art form.
As images
unfold before our eyes we are awed not only by their aesthetic
value, but also by the depth of the entire sensual experience
that each photograph contains, The viewer becomes part of the
image, and discovers his or her place inside of it through the
photographers' angle and point of view. The visual experience
is enhanced with well chosen words that compel further thought
and brings us closer to the photographers' artistic vision.
A true labor
of love and friendship was born out of the partnership of Mohamad
and Dina on this work. It sheds both light and shadows on natural
beauty and the human experience.

nous promènent à travers le Liban et nous font découvrir
sa richesse à tous les niveaux: paysages, fleurs, archéologies,
instants de la vie quotidienne et autres, en des prises de vue
surprenantes de beauté et de précision, mais par-dessus
tout, c'est la richesse de la personnalité des photographes
qui nous coupe le souffle tellement l'acuité de leur regards
est allée chercher loin pour exprimer leur sentiment face
à l'image qu'ils ont voulu nous faire partager!
Par ailleurs
une même photo de cet ouvrage a été proposée
à l'interprétation de personnes de générations
et de sexes différents. Ce qui nous amène à
constater que ce qui est magnifique dans l'art, dans la peinture,
dans la photographie, dans la musique, dans la sculpture, c'est
de deviner tout à coup que les mêmes choses ne sont
pas perçues de la même façon selon la sensibilité
de la personne qui les découvre.

vue et parfois, curieusement, par leur similitude.
