Who is André Kalfayan:

Born in Jbeil in 1968.

His talent appeared in his early childhood. He never followed painting courses at specialized universities or institutes. He created his own way of paintings. He adopts oil painting coloring with a cutter, nails and pin as his lone tools.

At seventeen, he embraced professionalism. He dealt with various subjects but he was very well known for painting old doors, windows and verandas.

7000 of his paintings are spread around the world. His work is involved in many expositions in Dubai such as "Intercontinental Hotel".

He provided many art lessons in several schools. He participated in great number of individual and collective exhibitions in and outside Lebanon.

He obtained various appreciation and merits awards. He is the animator of the art committee at the developpement association in Gemmayze.

Lebanese and foreign mass media provided to him and to his paintings great importance and space.

His permanent exhibition is in Byblos (Jbeil) - Lebanon.
